What is the best desert tour from Marrakech?
For the tall golden dunes, choose Merzouga: 3 days is the minimum, with one night in the Erg Chebbi dunes. If you only have 2 days, Zagora is closer. For an evening only, the Agafay desert is 45 minutes from Marrakech.
Private or shared tour from Marrakech?
Private tours give you your own driver, your own pace and any start date. Shared tours travel in a small group minibus on a fixed route at a lower price. Both include the camel ride and desert camp.
Can I end my tour in Fes instead of coming back to Marrakech?
Yes. Our 4, 5 and 6-day Marrakech to Fes tours cross the Sahara and finish at your riad in Fes, so you do not drive the same road twice.
Do you pick up from riads inside the Marrakech medina?
Yes. Cars cannot enter every lane of the medina, so your driver meets you at the closest point to your riad that a car can reach.
